Meet The Team!

I started CrossFit in 2015 after a long running career at Montana State, where I was a mid-distance runner.  I fell in love with the CrossFit methodology because I knew I needed to gain muscle but I hated the idea of sitting in a gym and lifting in the traditional sense. 

I absolutely love CrossFit (some may say I am slightly addicted)!  I started CrossFit in 2015 and it has taken my fitness to levels I never imagined being possible.  It has introduced me to a wonderful community full of like-minded individuals.  I cannot imagine my life without it.  I love watching others progress through their own personal CrossFit journeys, discovering how to be the best versions of themselves.

I have lived in Ennis since the late 90's and love everything outdoors that the Madison Valley has to offer!  Because of my active lifestyle, staying fit and healthy has always been very important.  After having two kids and becoming bored with traditional at home workouts, I found CrossFit StoneFly and fell in love with the intensity and diversity, as well as the community.  After a year, I decided to immerse myself even further in CrossFit and got my Level 1 certification.  I love helping new and current members figure out how to improve the smallest of things that push them to be better!

I am a wife and mom of two awesome kiddos (if I do say so myself).  Physical activity has always been a big part of my life.  I grew up playing sports and I love the competitiveness.  After having kids, I wanted to find a way to continue to be active.  I joined running groups and group fitness classes, which became a huge part of my life.  I was a group fitness instructor for 10 years.  I joined CrossFit StoneFly when it opened in 2019.  I was instantly drawn to the feeling of community and support.  I also love the challenge to push myself in ways that I never had before.  I became a CF-L1 Trainer in January of 2021.  This community and these experiences have given me the opportunity to set big goals and build amazing friendships that add so much value to my life!  Thank you CrossFit StoneFly! 

I have been active my entire life with basketball being my sport.  I hated working out in the traditional sense so when I found CrossFIt back in 2013, I knew I had found something more fulfilling.  Having a baby and then moving to rural Montana made it tough to commit to keeping up with workouts from home.  When Bryce and Katy opened CrossFit StoneFly in 2019, I was extremely excited to get back into it and become part of this gym community.  As a physical therapist and Level 2 Trainer, I believe the foundations of CrossFit can be applied to everyday life no matter who you are!
